So I was on the very cusp of not knowing what was going on in the story, but I think that's cuz I'm used to reading manga where I don't really have to pay attention XD Once I focused a bit more, this story was gold (⌒▽⌒) The fact that their past lives' friend is still alive and read the story about them was so wholesome too
