In spite of the overwhelming secondhand embarrassment I got from this chapter (￣∇￣") I'm so happy to see them freely communicating everything that's on their minds, they've come so far
They really have, and so has the father, albeit there's some work needed but at least he's trying now.

He's just so upfront and honest with his advice, telling the kiddo he doesn't know instead of trying to pretend, but then suggesting they both ask someone who does know. He's genuinely one of my favorite characters ever
