It sounds to me like Qui Yu's mom reacted just like Fu Yi Cheng's mom did previously, but then after several years, Fu Yi Cheng's mom decided to calm down and actually learn about different sexualities and accept her son for who he is. I'm just really reeeeeeally hoping that Qui Yi's mom does the same, but sooner cuz my heart is broken
