Idk about yall but I do sympathize with Hyeonu, when Hayeon said "the world is not messed up" I was like I BEG to differ. Yes it's true that hayeon has not had it easy at all, but we're forgetting that in Korea lots of stuff requires parent's consent, smth children with absent parents cannot afford. Part time jobs don't earn enough money to afford one of them's medical bills. These children were failed by their parents and ultimately the govt. And I think we're missing that point and only focusing on children will not solve the problem. They get taken out tomorrow there'll be more like them. I'm not at all saying what they did is right but I think acting all self-righteous is also pretty annoying. Hayeon shouldn't have tried to get "rewards". Anyway I love her and love the story sm I binge read it and finally caught up.
Man that inc3st really threw me off, also is it me or the author has this weird ideology about nobles being purer, cuz the way that whole arc about teh commoners' uprising about totally right stuff was reduced to just "it was plotted by commoners" as if none of it was the nobles' fault. And I just read a comment about the distant relative of claire being a rapist?? Hello?
