The creator described it as trash x psychopath LOL trash guy uses psychopath and tells him something off handedly that he didn't mean and psycho hangs on to every word and eventually turns it back on him...I guess to some extent it is Stockholm syndrome-y but I think ultimately it's more like someone with a difficult personality falls in love with someone mentally unstable and they have a really unconventional relationship. Imo it's a really unique story bc they're both toxic but there's an emphasis on empathy...idunno, as a psych romance lover I actually really liked it, personally...but there are very mixed reviews
