I'm no longer checking comments for this story bc it's absolutely amazing and so well written and the characters feel so real and each are lovable in their own ways despite clear flaws. The haters in these comments just want super unrealistic dramatic/toxic bl or just have bad taste.

I think I had super high hopes so the drawn out parts without the literal main love interest and then really rushed ending really let me down.. still I'm happy they're happy in the end ♡
Neither are right about the way this played out and Cirrus is super toxic too, but Skylar went way too far. He didn't communicate his trauma or explain his behavior at all, and he hit Cirrus DIRECTLY where it hurt, using his trauma against him. That shit hurt.

I think sex was his first understanding of intimacy and love so he's always clinging to the idea of it and comforted by the thought that his life would be complete if he reached that point (even though he's proven that he actually wants to be in love and isn't interested in sex otherwise)...I feel bad bc it's actually really tragic that his trauma has fucked up his emotional intelligence so much that he ties all of his mistakes and losses to his libido when in actually and he was just looking for someone to love genuinely love him with sex and physical intimacy being the one thing that seemed tangible enough for him to understand.
