EVERYONE THE AUTHOR RELEASED AN EXPLANATION (≧∀≦) (saw this explanation from insta)
OKAY SO HERE IS WHAT THE AUTHOR SAID ABOUT THE CHAPTER :
"think it's best to leave the interpretation of the work to the readers.. Also, since the Nerd Project doesn't leave much room for interpretation, l've tried to avoid mentioning the story as much as possible.. But this time, I feel like a little explanation is necessary, so I'm writing this.. I might delete this tweet..'
"It seems like many of you were quite surprised by Andrew's actions in the last episode.. * | wanted to show that Andrew, who seems to excel at everything, grew up without learning some important aspects of life... As a smart character, Andrew can do well once he learns!! He just doesn't know yet.. Really, he just doesn't know..."
"Though some details were omitted for flow.. after Luke taught him how to handle tools, Andrew was able to drive nails into the board really beautifully and neatly~"
alright so what I inferred from this is that Andrew genuinely does not know how to use these tools, he is clearly struggling, I just re-read this chapter keeping in mind her explanation and trust me it makes a hell lot of difference, also please keep in mind that this is Malcolm's pov and also the author clearly mentions here that she has omitted certain details for plot purposes, also the way this chapter has been curated, it leaves room for ambiguity so please keep that in mind, l understand the sheer panic because my fav bl manhwa top is Andrew so I was in a huge shock after this chapter but keep the author's clear explanation in mind.
Uhm currently on chapter 14 and I do see that Mr. Kang is a dumb ass but on the case they were talking about he didn't bribe the witness but instead dig up the witness affair and then black Mailed the witness that he would send it to his son if he did not go to the court and likely confess the wrong things the witness done. And fourth year was more adamant on the part were he black mailed the witness. Idk I focus more on the affair and the fact he actually did something wrong and for him to receive a punishment for more than his crime feels like karma to me. Fourth year is focusing on the wrong things or am I just wrong for having this thoughts?(-_-)/
No your insight was spot on in actually.
I did question this bl when I first found it , and I absolutely didn't like Mr Kang . Now I'm on chapter 94.
It's actually a very mature read and I love both characters and how they deal with their case differently. And what that says about their personality and difference.
