There's no way a psychopath can love at all. At most he will create an unhealthy obsession with Tae, and will only worry about keeping him alive through obsessive sexual attraction.
Up to this point I feel sorry for Tae (he deserved love) for being an emotional hostage of a psychopath, a toy

It's fine because Taekjoo himself loves Dangerous things. He even admit to himself only Zhenya accept him as a spy who's rarely home (cuz Zhenya always follow him wherever he go - USA, Iraq, China, etc), and accept him as a momma's boy who always prioritize momma over his lover (even Zhenya become her bff)

Thats why these “psychopath” characters annoy me, because its so unrealistic.
These authors just like the idea of a psychopath and that a character can “fix him” the whole thing is just romanticized
There is only bl story i can think of that portrayed a psychopath realistically

well let's just say zhenya developed some codependency towards taekjoo, actually tj went to sokor to continue being a spy and zhenya follows him around and even aids him with his missions lmao. and yeah they're officially dating and i understand that their relationship at first was highkey toxic but trust me, both of them became affectionate towards the other and they are each other's most important person.
