Haesoo and Jowoon are in a codependent relationship.
In a codependent relationship, there is usually one person who is more passive and can’t make decisions for themselves(Haesoo), and a more dominant personality who gets some reward and satisfaction from controlling the other person and making decisions about how they will live(Jowoon).
Signs of codependency include(that apply to JxH):

•Having difficulty communicating in a relationship(B)

Not all codependent relationships turn bad. For example, it's reasonable if one partner looks to another for advice or guidance on a major decision. Not the case for JxH, their relationship is toxic af. Haesoo can't keep a relationship because Jowoon has ruined that for him. Jowoon obviously doesnt want Haesoo being in any relationships because he wants to be needed by Haesoo. Taku being introduced can be a chance for Haesoo to pursue a healthy relationship or he can stay in the same relationship he has always had with Jowoon.

The author's previous work Fools also had a codependent relationship but it wasn't the main main focus like this one is. This author is very aware of what a healthy relationship is and I think Haesoo would either end up Taku since this story is basically imo fools just with the codependent relationship as the main focus OR Haesoo would end up alone.

I know Seungwon is a more closeted type but him not telling Heesu about his friends makes me kinda mad. Heesu feels left out, especially when this new purple headed dude is all up on Seungwon. And even though Jihye didn't think it was something worth thanking him, he went to have dinner with Gyoon. And was surprised, that sunbae can laugh with a happy expressione After classes some classmate came to ask Jihye go and finish report with him, but Jihye had an appointment with Gyoon, so he hurried to him. Yet Gyoon wasn't waiting for him! Jihye was surprised, but suddenly he heard Gyoon's voice from a parking lot. He came closer and saw him arguing with blondie. Jihye remembered, that it was that guy, who asked directions from him not long ago. He was ready to intervene, thinking what might this guy need from sunbae! But Gyoon angrily told blondie to get over it for the last time and go home, since he was so persistent. And Namwoo went for it and kissed him Ouch, kind of knew, that at some point Jihye will see them. And his feelings just started to connect with Gyoon's a little

For a second Gyoon was sure there is a bug on him , since blondie found him there . He said to come later , because he had a date with Jihae . Namwoo had the nerve only Gyoon thinks of it as a date He asked to talk for 5 minutes . And so , he told Gyoon , what a punishment chairwoman gave him . Now he was sure , that she knows about everything ( meaning his feelings ) Gyoon was even relieved to hear it ! He smiled and congratulated Namwoo . He said they could end this thing between them then . He intended to walk away , but Namwoo caught him again . He said they didn ' t have a clean breake Because they had a deal - Namwoo will get punished , then will get a reward . Last time , when Gyoon was angry with him , blondie was punished . Yet didn ' t have a time to receive his reward ! He asked for a kiss ! Gyoon was shocked by this request . He called Namwoo crazy and told him to at least come later to his home , since they could be caught . But blondie just grabbed and kissed him right there ! Gyoon punched him and looked around , thinking Jihae could see . . But didn ' t spot anyone Namwoo promised to not look for Gyoon anymore and deal with Byung , saying they can end this contract between them now Gyoon finally left and met Jihae . Boy lied from the start , that he just came . The ate , watched a movie , Gyoon had a good time . When it was already late , he wanted to send Jihae back . He asked , if they could meet tomorrow or day after that . Jihae said he ' ll be busy . Gyoon tried to ask for next week , but all of a sudden boy said he won ' t meet him anymore ! And said " thank you for everything to him.

Mother has the right to be all that worried and thought Fanboy choose the wrong path. And as for Fanboy's relationship with Star, of course, any Mother in the world would be worked up if her son dates a celebrity. Especially in Korean, a country full of drama and toxic thought (in my opinion) just like K - netizens. So obviously she would want her son to break up with Star (well, Korean entertainment industry is pretty rude), therefore, break up with Star might be a good choice for Fanboy.

Hes taking care of himself quite well he has a part time job and he's doing what needs to be even if it's not "her" (I cant stress that enough) plans for him. If she didnt like star because he was just a shit human being I would understand. But she clearly doesn't like Star because Fanboy is dating another male. Even if she was worried about him getting mad at Fanboy wasn't the way to do it. Most fans don't care if this is some self righteous act from the mom because if shes really worried about him being rejected by Korean society. If that was truly that reason she could've been the one to accept him, and made him feel loved. Even if she "changes" her mind it's too late and their relationship wouldn't be the same.
