I mean people can hope? Mr. Sharpe is his teacher so I think seeing him as a father figure is reasonable and obviously people know that's it's gonna be more than that but I don't see anything wrong in thinking of different ways this plot can develop even if they know it won't actually happen

I mean... We all got our tastes... They ended up not liking the story mid way but still completed it for us none the less(if anything I am glad lol since I liked the story and I am happy to see the finale) and they did a pretty good job with translation/cleaning. So yeah... Other than that each to their own opinion I guess... ╮(￣▽￣)╭
