Hands down the best manga ever produced— I’ve been reading it since it was first released and I so badly want the hard copies.

Hasn’t updated in a while as the mangaka is still trying to recover from sickness— inevitable, since the job is taxing mentally as well as physically. Writing a story line over until it’s approved, remaining hunched over a table for hours on end, handing everything in before the due date. It’s like hell in school but just hellish work. So please sympathise, and put into consideration, the health of and what their work does to your favourite authors.

Doh Soojung is honestly getting what she deserves after all that she’s done. The part that really knocked me out was when she began to shrink and freak out from the thought of having to admit to the plagiarism, much more apologising to Taesoo. The fact that she began to victimise herself after admitting to her fiancé truly is an additional knee slapper. I hope Ms Doh learns her lesson from what’s more to come— though, I doubt she will and would instead have a prolonged tantie about why Ms Lim had to “ruin everything” or maybe “steal everything away from her” and start blaming everyone other than herself. Nothing but weak.

Like, yeah you want to return to your world and yeah you want you hurry and leave that place but after he saved your life (bc he really really really needs a flower in his life of misery mushrooms) you shut his hope of ever having a close friend at the age of twelve- man, seriously? With “Why did you keep me alive ?” Carnaria Beaster or whatever the duck your name is now, you ain’t a hostage or smth smh at yo oblivious ass
Summary: abandoned boy gets picked up by a doctor or medical practitioner of a sort, and during his stay he notices something is off with this sensei. Worried, he discovers a secret that was kept poorly hidden behind his back.
Comment: I feel that if this weren’t a one-shot, the author really would’ve set it so that the shota would age a bit more and allowed a longer plot to squeeze in, but then again, it was a one-shot with a shotacon and a shota. We got what was intended and I’m happy with just that.
It was a fun and quick read, would reread to satiate some boredom.
Manga: Bikkuri Suru Hodo Doji Na Koi
This manga hits the spot if you’re looking for a straightforward and fluffy read. It’s about two pairs of couples- I personally liked the second couple’s story more though, a stoic (not sure how to exactly describe it but he was cool and blunt) Seme and a feminine Uke. I just love how they don’t go beating around the bush and just get things over and done with without much drama. But it feels a bit unrealistic.
Like—
My head would be racing with all sorts of quiet assumptions, and I’d be stressing about it for weeks even if it probs wouldn’t matter by then. Anyhow, the uke was strong and didn’t hold anything in and he said straight out what he wanted to hear from his man— I’m taking notes here. I stan a healthy relationship.

Kpop industry’s company Cube failed me on that one, kicking out Hyuna and Hyojong just bc of their relationship— they’re semi-cancelled (bc I still multistan talented kings: Pentagon).
Super colourful art and nothing you wouldn’t expect from a transmigration novel turned comic. The story progresses at a fast, but not quite a consistent rate. We see the protagonist immediately getting into action, and from there everything is predictable.
It literally just- just tells you. Everything. And when it doesn’t, you could connect the dots from the bubbles (thought and dialogue bubbles)

I understand bits and pieces— but the deeper we go into the story I get a bit more confused. Is there anyone who can sum up the events so it makes more sense ?

What I got so far:
• marquis died and the marquess’ life reversed after an incident that was caused by her leaving the mansion after being denied an invitation to attend Jeremy’s wedding.
• going back in time to the funeral, she changes her decision of having their close relatives leave the mansion. With her stepchildren in mind, she initially thought it would be great to have the aunt (and tag-along-uncle) stay bc the kids loved them and can do with a adult to look up to and help guide them.
• she realises it wasn’t a good idea bc they were both filthy hypocritical creatures trying to take control of the children— she sends them away all while gaining the trust and love of her stepchildren which she didn’t have in her past future life (bc she was cold to them and didn’t bother trying to understand them— she was just trying to survive without the marquis)
• now she attends the thing after the funeral (forgot) and overhears the upperclass (snakes) placing their bets on how long she’ll last. She leaves the party and goes back to the mansion early.
Now— I think I’m lost because there aren’t any indications of the instructions to her maid to clean up a room ? So that room bit throws me off.
Ohh— I gets— anyhow, is that what’s going on so far ??

Pretty much. I would say she had a chance to return when she was going to be killed because Jeremy's bride actually told her a lie. She did have the love and respect of the children at some point in her first go but by the time it was earned, things were too awkward to remedy (see her beginning staircase dream sequence.)
This last chapter is confusing as to whether it is all in the first or second but because of her mentioning Jeremy's help at the party, I think the "past flash" we get are when she is in her nightgown and when she compares the children's behavior.
Ohh I see— I don’t think I processed the flashbacks right while reading, which may have hampered the growing confusion as well. So the staircase dream sequence was actually her gaining the children’s love and respect ? But she couldn’t keep her focus away from surviving, so she neglected properly communicating with the children ?? Thank you for your patience ! The manhwa/manhua’s a bit difficult to wrap one’s head around at the first go— I’ve gone back a couple of times to try to see what else I can make out of the things I don’t get. Thanks again ! :D
