I'm kinda irritated that she like told him her whole plan after graduation. You spent a long time serving this guy you should already know that he's an asshole that likes playing dirty. Even if you didn't know you could've just lied about something.
She clearly didn't tell him her whole plan of going to Bahamut and stuff, but if you are going to say no to the royal family then she needs a convincing reason because he can literally just order her to serve him either way (as he kind of just did). This way he's still making concessions to her opinion in a way, because while he prevented her from leaving, he still leaving the serving decision to her. She can sneak away still, but if she becomes a servant by force then she will be monitored.
