He didn’t have feeling for Wooyeon during that time. He said he was scared his feelings could develop into something more which is the reason he quit and went into military. It said in the novel (I’m one of the unofficial english translators for this novel) that he started to like Wooyeon after he left Wooyeon house a couple of chapters ago (then he got the call from Wooyeon mom and knew he had to put his feelings aside).

So yes they do break up shortly after dating. We are currently in chapter 37 in the novel. They start dating chapter 52 and break up chapter 75 but get back together chapter 91 (mind you there is 98 main story chapter, 20 side stories and 40 special side stories). The reason for the break up is because Wooyeon finds out the tutoring was just a spy job because he was hired by Wooyeon mother. However the stories goes into a TON of detail about the backstory and why he did it and why he didn’t tell him. (for me it was completely reasonable why he accepted the job).

Number 1) skylar literally hid all his bruises from his mom and minwoo told them to NOT MAKE THE BRUISES SHOW BC THEIR PARENTS KNEW EACHOTHER and skylar didn’t want to get minwoo in trouble HENCE WHY HE THREATENED TO KILL HIMSELF so his mom wouldn’t call minwoos mom which is what his mom wanted to do. She literally did care so much about skylar, got upset he wasn’t taking his meds, scared his depression got bad again, literally crying. You said not to mention him attempting to kill himself but what could she have done when he threatened that? I’m sure any mother would do as their child said if they were worrying that they were at risk of taking their life. We literally don’t even see skylars mom enough for you to make an assumption she is bad. God forbid a mom who is scared for her child’s life is hard on him when he doesn’t take his meds because she’s scared he’ll kill himself or get severely depressed again. 2) she literally moved to an ENTIRE DIFFERENT TOWN in order for skylar to have a fresh start away from bullying - aswell as only giving HIM a room - both her and his sister sharing a bed on the floor. I don’t care what you say but she was a good mother and was REALISTIC to reacting to the situation that skylar was in. Don’t bother trying to argue because you’re severely wrong and clearly never experienced that sort of situation.

I thought about responding to that user when I saw her comment on feeds. I had the same arguments and talking points as you. Then thought about it a little and there's no way someone can have a take like that with a fully functioning brain. I'm afraid she might be a lobotomite. Who the hell judges a divorced mother working her ass off to raise both of her children pretty much on her own? She was doing everything right too. She was literally the reason the bullying stopped because as soon as she found out about it she took action. Look at the way this user easily throws around the word whore too. Her post reeks of internalised misogyny. She's probably still very young but I hope no one judges her that harshly if she ever becomes a single mother. She later calls Cyrrus a diva in another comment for basically blackmailing and emotionally manipulating Skylar.

YES OH MY GOD! Thank you for agreeing, I could not let that slide knowing skylar’s mom was the reason he escaped his bullying and even MET cirrus! Without her this story wouldn’t of existed!
