Girl who's we? I am disgusted at the mere thought of it. She has been emotionally abused for centuries and is only now starting to reclaim her life. Women are so much more beyond motherhood, she deserves a life of her own. If she can't manage her own feelings, how is she going to care for a baby? For example, even though rape is romanticised in fiction, you as a reader ought to critisise it, because it's misrepresented and misdirected under an endearing light. I am not speaking for all women. There's a difference in pattern recognition (women) and a generalisation (all women). How often are women dimished and reduced to nothing but motherhood and are expected to raise a child when they themselves aren't in the right mindset?

You are still generalizing and speaking on behalf of all women but yet you continue to deny it. Not all women will agree with your statement. There are women around the world who fully embrace motherhood and that doesn’t mean they are reduced to nothing but motherhood. Honey I just told you the difference between pattern recognition and generalisations. Whether you'd like to acknowledge it or not, we live under a patriarchal system, which exists worldwide. Westerners are merely more aware of this. Of course there are women who embrace motherhood, as they should, it's a beautiful journey.

But to wish for a woman who has been psychologically abused for the longest time, doesn't have the luxury, is being deceived by a sketchy guy, to give birth and raise a child by SAID SKETCHY GUY, is OBJECTIVELY diminishing and is just yet another example of the fetishization and objectification of women. Not to mention, our lady has been dedicating the majority of her life pleasing her ungrateful husband, not in a position to introspect and do some self healing. For such a person, who's lived their entire life living for others, how incredibly selfish is it to with for them to bring life to another human, and yet again, live for them? And not only is it unfair to the woman herself, but to the baby too. Sure, maybe it'll will grandiosely because of Taeha's wealth, but both him and Haesoo are evidently emotionally inept - as they've both been manhandled from a young age.

The right mindset in the case of childbirth is when you are in a position to recognise and resolve your unhealed trauma, when you've finally established taking care of yourself and feeling fulfilled enough to be able to devote yourself into the journey of parenthood. When you've developed some self confidence, when you're able to set boundaries. And our lady is clearly not there yet, she barely possesses self concept, gets swayed and swept up by other people's words like a leaf in the wind, doesn't inquire about the younger person she's pursuing and relies on him heavily for validation and reassurance. You can hope for her to form a family with Taeha after the turmoil, but AT THIS MOMENT? Hell NO.

If you find yourself in a situation like this, have all your feelings and experiences thus far disregarded by a third party, frantically hoping for you to have a baby with someone you don't know, and don't think it's disrespectful and diminishing, my sweet, I genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, want the best for you and your healing journey.

And knowing Na Haesoo, she would be devastated at the idea of a baby with Taeha right now. She still thinks they shouldn't be together, that they won't work out, that she's only relying on him to get over Mincheol. And finding a replacement right after a divorce is not a healthy way of dealing with your heartache. This is what she's shown us, what she's told us.

How are you going to use the word conceive and miscarriage in the same message and not possibly refer to childbirth? Conception is when the fetus gains consciousness, life. Based on what you said, by wishing she doesn't have a miscarriage (the loss of a baby), and that she conceives, you are implying she gives birth. Those are grammar rules.

You are spending time to read my responses, and so am I for you, that's a sign of mutual respect, and I appreciate you for it. I respect you, and that's why I want to give arguments that counter your points, I genuinely disagree with them and I want to give you an understanding of my stance.

This is what a debate is like, and it's best to leave personal feelings out of it. Your arguments are logical, but they're irrelevant to the point. Right now is an inappropriate moment to wish for Na Haesoo's pregnancy, because of the weak state she's in: lack of self confidence and self concept, being manipulated by a sketchy Taeha who's lying to her, being persuaded by strangers' words without weighing the pros and cons. She recently escaped an abusive marriage, so she needs to care for herself and reclaim her life. She cannot care for a baby. And by hoping for her pregnancy NOW, you, the reader, regardless of your intentions, are disrespecting her right to live for herself and undermining the responsibility of parenthood.
