So OG Vinter actually loved OG Penelope and when she got killed he reversed time obver and over again so the wizard dude-- he’s stuck in this magic circle that is basically torture but it’s his price for turning back time. And he did it so many times that Penelope’s original soul shattered to pieces until one piece became part of the FL’s soul which is why she was brought into the world.
