As a person who is very like Hananoi-kun, i feel him too much. The fear of abandonment, feeling upset for smallest things and not caring for yourself, trying to be someone else for your lover etc. Hotaru and him really fits. Personally, i kinda find the love rival and shoujo part of story very forced because the "you are my first love, i will only love you" cliches but besides this, i am glad that main lead is getting closer to others. Other than his girlfriend. He really needs to learn self love and therapy. He needs to learn that his feelings matter and he is someone who deserves love. And he also needs to stop idolizing Hotaru and people he loves because he needs to learn to be independent from others as his own. But i am glad that Hotaru understood and accepted him as he is. Best part is: she didnt even need to force herself. She just loves him so it was natural. So yeah.
What i didnt like about fhis story is i thought child was the mc. Story was about a kid whose parents were neglecting him and use kid to avoid each others. Then suddenly story turned into love story between parents. Meh disappointing.
I hate stories like this how seme destroyed ukes life but they getcsecond chance and uke only remember later. Like, they get forgiven so easiely. At least, make it worth. But it really doesnt. There was another storylike this. That one was worse. Uke had memories but it was so painfull for him that he thought it was fiction, its insane. Seme repeatedly tortured and r*ped him in past life but since he is "different person" now, he gets forgiven. I swear those semes dont deserve it. In this story too, i wish Sejin had more therapy and power in this situation that we could at least feel for seme.
Story is fine but everything happens too Fast and i hated that seme ignored the girl who was r*ped. Like, that "r*pe drug" thing is oooof.
What seme did to uke is grooming and i am surprising people who call this "childhood lovers". Yes, age gap isnt big but the point is: there is clear power imbalance and abuse of power here.
The abuse isnt always that obvious. He is manipulative in a way he seduce him with candies and cookies, normalizing kissing and holding hands between them since they were young. He abused his power to take control of ukes life so that he cant marry someone else. He didnt lock anyone. He didnt need to because he literally closed every chance uke had with others.
This saddens me because i recently watched documentary about victim who spoke about his abuser. And the abuser used "exctly this way" to seduce kids, first by making them normalize certain stuff. Yes, this seme "loves" uke or "obsessed" with it but he groomed him.
Nothing about him is Green flag because he had the control in this relationship. As emperor, he also has bonus power to manipulate or force others to control "the life of uke" the way he decided it is good for him. This is grooming. This is abuse.
Ok, this isnt Green Ml as people mentioned as him to be. He was too pushy abput his confession and sex. He literally didnt accept no, even though he didnt necessarely force him, its still not right. As a character, i really like uke because you can relate to him, his perspective but seme doesnt even have much personality besides having this big crush love towards uke. I think this couldve written better but also saw worse so whatever.

Ok, its cute and all, but i wish he also kimda looked for him. Like, yeah, continue with your normal life and also look for your love. Like, "Weiyun will come to me", ok but, you can also go to him. I really like this story but sometimes idk, i feel like there is always more biurden or effort on Weiyuns side. Likez i get mc, i really do but i find his logic ridicilous. "Idk if he is alive but i know he will come one Day so until then, i will just be happy".I would love and prefer the idea of "if he cant come, i will find him. We will find each other/reunite, i know it", more than...this.

Like, what r*pist father did to fl or when yeonwoo will tell he was r*ped to his parents. And maybe some suing for justice and therapy and all. I hope we get it.
I love this story, my only problem and biggest problem is he lost his origin body. I hate when stories do that.
