The author passed away but the spouse gave the rough drafts to a close friend of theirs and they are working on finishing it. Its just a slow pace since it's not their original story
No , sorry but I think it is not the real reason . The author had already finished the manga halfway and published the manga before she passed away so there is more to read and the chapters we are reading now is the original and the author’s spouse did not let anyone continue the series as it was almost done . Sorry english is not my first language so forgive me for any mistakes done . Thankyou .
It was left unfinished at Volume 23 chap 94 as the author passed away. There is still more to read until the latest and last chap she made. Its just that the updates depend on the scanlators pacing. But the anime has the ending that the author originally planned.
