Fiction shouldn't be normalising tho. It's not something you just throw in a story to add a bit of effect. Don't get me wrong, the girl should have definitely been punished but was that the only way... and no it isn't

I don't think anyone's reading a manga about a serial killer and taking it as a life guide on what to do and what is okay, it's meant to be fucked up and awful not normalising. The reason she was assaulted was because that's what she did to mc so all the bullying is meant to come full circle.

When I used normalising, I meant it as bl writers just keep using a sensitive topic like ra#e soo often that it's "normal" to read about it, when it just wasn't necessary. Empathising the fact she was saving herself for her uncle (

but what you're saying is not really relevant since nothing was normalized... you're talking about romance-centered BLs which is not the case of this this story right here so... I'm failing to understand why a manga about Revenge and a literal psychopath/yandere guy would have to be careful about r4pe or anything morally "right"..

... its not about being careful. My argument is not the girl getting ra#ed makes no sense in the plot. My argument is WHY must that be the only way the girl goes through trauma. I'm sure there's a 100 + ways of her going something traumatic. If I put aside that being morally wrong then it just "unoriginal" and "boring" unlike what the first guy went through. I get the manga it's dark and I like it. I hope you understand tho, if u still don't keep it stepping x

I do agree that it's shitty that a lot of times in these revenge plots if there's a woman the revenge is often sa based where it's not for male characters, like a double standard.
OMFG EVERY TIME COURTNEY'S FAMILY APPEARS IN A PANEL I JUST WANNA GO INSIDE MY PHONE TO THE MANHWA AND KRILL THEM, INCINERATE, FEED TO THE PIGS, FUCKEN BAZOOKA TF THEM TO MARS BECAUSE THEY'RE SO FUCKING ANNOYING!!! (except lil baby niece :]])
I'm so sick and tired of Isekai food mangas that barely even focuses on food + annoying characters that doesn't even need to be on a panel for no reason.
Everybody be clocking each other about 'r4₱3', some people here are probably 12-16 or some sht who can't differentiate fiction from real life
