It's not that they don't like each other. They obviously do but HGSN isn't the manga I would compare them to. They deal with different issues. Here the girlies are trying to be with each other and look past their differences and learn more regardless of the classist system. I haven't come across a suitable enough BL comic to compare this to as none of them have actually portrayed the system in such a realistic way.
