Man I really was hoping for them to go deep into Dorothy's past and realize her love for money and materialistic things was a way to cope and remind herself that she’s not alone and struggling to survive without money, money was something she didn’t have when she was younger so she lusts for it to make her feel safe.
I've seen some comments bashing her personality but I find it quite cute? She's strong and knows her worth, even though she says she wants to live a lazy life and even be lazy it's understandable because doesn't everyone? It's like an unobtainable dream and I'm pretty sure she knows that. Especially now that she's a prodigy, plus it's obvious she's going to have to learn in order to develop her skills/mana.
