Honestly, I kinda value the realism displayed here, especially when compared to so many manhwa and manga where the bottom character just goes along with it.

Pyeonghwa, however, is presented as a genuine freak, aroused by being knocked out and by Incheol's scornful gaze and demeanor.
I think both portraits are good, true to their respective roles, and realistic for this narrative. Now, let’s see where the story goes

Honestly, I get the story's intention, but the whole setup to make the Alpha the misunderstood hero who just has to "save" the poor Omega from a condition he literally caused is a bit frustrating. It kinda undercuts the MC's whole emotional burden and experience, making it seem like the Alpha's knowledge trumps everything.

I mean, the Omega isn't the only one in the world! It just feels more practical that visiting a doctor or seeing a specialist would be the first and best way to manage an irregular condition with a proper medical treatment than whatever this is going

I think people are missing the point. This is a case of pure Pavlovian conditioning: the dog isn't salivating for the bell itself, but because it instantly associated the bell (the conditioned stimulus) with food (the unconditioned stimulus).

In this case, the black-haired guy associated the word "mom" (the conditioned stimulus) with the forbidden desire of being married and having a family with his friend (the unconditioned stimulus) after witnessing the family scene upon arriving home. This is what triggered the arousal and the guilt (the conditioned response).

That's why he constantly keeps thinking of his friend's marriage (as implied by his own assumption that the child is imitating his parents marital relationship during the "mom and dad" game). His complex responses (guilt, arousal) were awakened by the forbidden desire itself.

Therefore, the word became the one trigger that instantly accesses those responses of guilt and desire associated with this idea and well happened what happened.

When the Demon King ENTITY awakened, Eve's being was divided into the Demon King persona and Eve's "other" persona. This means the demonic entity and Eve's persona are not strictly the same. Yes, Eve's existence is factually the Demon King's existence, but all Eve's persona is not, which implies that during the awakening and replacement process, Gozu not only performed the replacement first, but he also interrupted Eve's full transition. By keeping the demonic entity asleep (or preventing its wake-up) he preserved Eve's human persona, thus allowing Kiriki to continue existing. This structural element is actually SO brilliant and well-written!

Now I have questions. From Kiriki's flashbacks, it's implied that the Divine Saint is an entity as well. Since Eve's demonic entity never woke up, it makes me wonder if Eve's soul, life, or whatever, is a key or door that allows entities to cross into that world. And if it is, maybe that might be the reason Gozu appeared in the first place! GOSH, this is getting better and better with each chapter! ヾ(☆▽☆)
