Arthur does this so they won't be too discouraged...He knows they are far too fragile to handle a hard rejection so he hints at that not where or what he needs atm...So, isn't Tess being the immature one by blowing up and talking about another girls relationship ,while being mad at Arthur for not wanting to step too far after the kiss she did of her own will without taking art's feelings and standpoint on their relationship? Tess knew the thought process as well so she should know that a relationship for him isn't ideal for him atm. Tess grow up ( ̄へ ̄)
I want to enjoy this, but the mc is really making terrible decisions for their well being and overall goal. Voluntarily serving the enemy whose had no good intentions from the start. Then, letting himself be used for a terrible trade off, which will no doubt come back to bite him in the ass due to the sheer arrogance/lack of knowledge of their situation. Time and time again, the MC is literally spouting info that you'd want to keep under wraps until furthur notice. Everyone seems to be looking to use him as a tool for combat, while mc is getting further and furthur away from their original goal (to go home). MC is so flawed it hurts to read. I'm 106 chapters in, and desperatley hoping they start thinking logically/smart for once. #-.-)
Might as well demote him from being MC to a random npc.
Mc is literally at the back end of every character atp
