this is like erha but european lol. im actually really enjoying the story? im especially weak to artstyles like this but the premise was also intriguing... i read the novel and im really excited for the adaptation.

this was incredibly written and the ending was super satisfying, but i have a couple of questions (hoping someone could maybe clear them up?)

1) i know that lewellyn was shown to be taking sleeping pills when he was being transported between his jobs to kill targets, but was it ever stated why he had an adverse reaction when shavonne drugged him without his knowledge?

2) what happened with the candle shavonne took from his apartment... or with the candles in general? was it just a murderer gimmick thing or does it have any deeper meaning/significance in the story?

3) why were people looking to lewellyn for sex near the beginning (prostitution)?

4) did lewellyn ever actually work (i know he left the apartment complex often but i dont think it was ever mentioned where he was going)? after shavonne and lewellyn become lovers why does lewellyn still not tell shavonne what he does for a living?

5) was lewellyn really ever wealthy? and if so how did he get the money?

6) why are lewellyn's nails blackened? was it just a byproduct of his environment at lute?

7) why did turner try to come on to shavonne if his job was only to seduce & monitor shavonne (since fawkes also seemed surprised when shavonne told him)? sure, turner could just be tactless scumbag, but did he actually become enamored with shavonne? like what would the point of trying to rape him be if he actually had a life outside of the fake editing and only wanted the money?? glad he got castrated

8) maybe more of a commentary rather than a question: lewellyn was obviously struggling with some serious trust/dependency issues (e.g. believing shavonne was lying about loving him) right up until his flashback chapters because of shavonne's behavior in the past (which is super understandable), but it seems like it was just dropped/resolved without explanation later on?? like yes lewellyn confronted shavonne about his distancing behavior during the turner arc but that was later on and less about lewellyn's own mentality and more about shavonne's decisions (it seemed like lewellyn was already obedient and accepting of shavonne wholeheartedly by then)... so my question is: was this fleshed out more in the novel or is it just a flaw of the writing?

i came here pretty hopeful because i think a good miscommunication trope is the best thing ever and i saw so many recommendations on social media but was thoroughly disappointed with this. the characters skirted around each other so much it felt like it was dragging on and on... so many of the hardships that MC faces felt artificial and had no impact since the ML just resolved them and none of their "development" moved me. and not to mention ML pretends to be one of those caring semes but is overall just a really shitty and apathetic person --- super skeptical of uke and leads him on for no reason. the premise had an okay hook to it but the story really just led to nowhere, a lot of the plot points werent fully fleshed out and dropped quickly in the middle. not to mention this is prolly one of the only bls where i wasnt interested in the sex at all and skimmed through the scenes, i felt like it wasnt passionate and half the time the MC was pressured to do it (by himself of course, but thats still a problem lol) or the ML was coming on to him. wasted potential.

omg i wanna see the full story behind jinhyeong and his noona... i remember uyun wanted to "revisit it later".... also jinhyeong mentioned a "high school incident" and i cant remember if they went over it in the story. has it been revealed yet? did i miss smth?

look i get that the whole "MC goes through a bunch of hardship until the ML pities him and falls for him" schtick is really really popular but I WANT BIHWAN TO SUFFER NGL. PLEASE. LIKE EVEN MORE THAN HE ALREADY HAS. SUFFER THE WAY BOTTOMS USUALLY DO. because i feel like the direction this manhwa is trying to take is the "seoho had his reasons for leaving, bihwan just didnt know and will realize minchan and seoho's goodowill and love minchan" or something vanilla like that but as the #1 bihwan stan id really love to see him in whump or go through really painful development (IS THAT WEIRD??? I JUST LOVE HIS CHARACTER. I WANT TO SEE HIM CRY). maybe if seoho left him for a really selfish reason like marrying a woman or something (am i projecting? PLEASE DONT FRY ME I WAS JUST THINKING OF WAYS BIHWAN COULD GO THROUGH MORE ANGUISH). hope this story ends up having really debilitating angst anyway, either way. it has so much potential for angsty angst so im really on the edge of my seat here i love angst.
