this is it. this is the ultimate catholic bl story. the themes of religion are so well explored and well studied, the art is very beautiful and symbolic (red often representing what is tainted with sin at the moment). The use of religious artwork, bible verses and religious imagery is used for a philosophical understanding of the characters and for these deep dives into yechan psyche, i love everything abt it.
its such a shame that this perfect piece of work is badly cropped.

religion???where?

i was looking for smth with religion (catholism, christianity) associated in the story when I believe the only thing that alludes to that is the fact that bottom is a priest. which is def just there to bring the whole prohibited celibate thing.
no other deep mentions of religion and or sin.
