As a chronic sufferer of depression and anxiety. I can say without a doubt that this manga is literally a description of what it's like to fall in love and get married with anxiety. I can relate with both characters so much. Hyesung isnt honest with his feelings and he's so scared so often but he still loves his family with all his heart (Dojin and baby byul)
Love the attitude on him too (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I wanna have a heart as big as Dijon though bc I dunno how he was able to put up with everything and against all odds, marry his omega

Tl;dr he was trying to ke Charnwood use the safe word, not bc of the rejection
Guys if you acc read the recent chapters you can clearly see that MD is angry that Charnwood lets people hurt and abuse him like they do. When he got violent with that play he was trying to get Charnwood to respect himself more and say the safe word
Obviously he realised he went too far and felt no different to the trash he dates so he decided to leave some space.
Then this situation happened and he finally used the safe word. He wasn't bitter of the rejection at all.

I was thinking about the "plot twist" that the author planned and I think I came up with a plausible idea for what they were trying to plan. I think the plot twist was that jihye's death was actually all in his mind and that was his actual mental illness.
TL;DR : If you read the manhwa with the idea that the death itself wasn't real a lot of stuff makes sense
//////This is my analysis here but I didn't type everything (got too long). Reply for more //////
If you look at the beginning youcan imagine someone who was looking after a person who was mentally sick acting the same way as Jihye was. Especially at the scene when the mother prepares seaweed soup (which is a birthday food) for Jihye's birthday and she cries at the fact that he "forgot their promise" but returns back to normal.
She got upset but then remembered that he was sick. The mother never really achknowledges the idea that she killed Jihye and you'd think that such a serious and important thing would be talked more about right? But if it's in his mind it would make sense that we only hear it from his perspective. Even in the letter she leaves when she dies she never mentions it
Plus this would also explain why he was able to physically push her outside the restaurant after storming away from his uncle. As well as that, the uncle just talks to his as if he is a bum but never talks at all about the death of his girlfriend which would normally be taken into account by people who are struggling. Especially just after 4 months.
Other than Hyunwoo and Jimin (as he could have been told about the death at the beginning to make things easier) nobody else explicitly references Jihye's death. His mom doesn't talk about it at length plus we never see Jihye's parents in the mix of all this. Him setting up hyunwoo with another girl was probably his mom's desperate attempt to focus him on a girl who he didn't think was dead. I think when he first had that confrontation with "Jihye apparition" it actually was Jihye but she ran away and after that she died of the endometrial illness. But that final bit is real guesswork from me

Hey yall I'm seeing a lot of hate about Jinha but I'd just like to put in my two cents about Siwon. If you haven't read the comic SPOILER ALERT. SPOILER ALERT. RUN AWAY, DO NOT EXPAND!!!
-
Nah I can't get why you guys are so for Siwon and against Jinha. Like did you see the kind of shit he was pulling in the villa with Seonyun.(before author too the break ofc)Like FR do you guys not remember how fucking shitty it was to read about Siwon moaning, barely doing shit about anything despite the fact that HE WAS WITH JINHA. Like I can agree, the way Jinha was with Seonyun was nasty esp in front of Siwon but with his intentions it DOES NOT COMPARE WHATSOEVER.
GOSH, sorry for that rant folks. Just needed to get that shit off of my chest bc I see tonnes of ppl talking shit about Jinha saying that Siwon deserves better but nah bro. Just nah.
Btw just letting yall know that the best episode in this is CH 58 btw, the valentines/white day/jinhas birthday ep I think. (It's been a while since I read this so don't crucify me if that's not exactly right)

Nobody is rlly cheering for any of the characters to be shipped. Some people actually thought it would've been better if they all just went their own ways... I think so too.
The story at the beginning was really interesting! I spent 8 hrs reading the 50 chapters or so at the start and waited for more!! but near the end or so, it got rlly irritating and frustrating on how they werent rlly acting like an.. actual.. person would in such a situation??? ik this is all like fantasy and stuff and it doesnt need to be 100% realistic-- but there is a line and this was a bit too much.
one thing i can only say that's good is the damn art. The art is beautiful and i love the colors!! I wish the story was a bit better though- this could've been huge and a bigger success..

Yikes.. sadly, i've got to agree. The art was actually really stunning! It was one of the reasons why I clicked on this manhwa... but the story wasnt what I was expecting??

I'm genuinely confused by nejima's thought process towards liking nisaka. Like the dude loves you and you tell him that "I like you too, but I can't reciprocate your feelings because I like someone else" Like personally it feels like such a terrible way to reject someone. Like is it even a real rejection? He is basically saying, I like you too but I like this other person more but if they weren't here then we would work out. That is just such a painful thing to say to someone else. Maybe I'm just being naive and he needed to hear that "straight truth" but i just think it in and of itself is wrong. Even if we look at it frm misaka's perspective he is more or less emotionally cheating bc he still likes nisaka (if his feelings are even real). I'm growing a love/hate relationship with this boy right now bc I have to applaud his effort at emotional growth, empathy and understanding
TL;DR : Don't hurt my precious nisaka anymore ╥﹏╥ ╥﹏╥

I know tonnes of people have said it as well but I love how the author makes this so realistic. I've loved someone before and it was and is so hard to try and get over it but he needs to heal. Eat some chicken, get some sleep and make yourself feel better.
I loved when the woman said that he should be honest and let the feelings float away. It really is all you can do. With time the feeling will numb... Gosh I love this author so much and I love this story even more than I did before
A mis i the only person rooting for Taekyung(Taku) throughout all of this. Like I can see that jowoon and Haesoo loved each other and I completely agree that it's a healing process. However I think the haesoo x joowon ship has sailed
They've been together for ten years and haesoo (and joowon) have suffered through the entire ordeal. Joowon, wanting to keep their relationship ambiguous so he can enjoy himself without all the consequences ate haesoo away. Haesoo wants and needs something solid and constant in his life.
Taku is a new start for him. I agree that it's gonna take time especially since he can't completely break things off with joowon bc they're brothers. Haesoo has barely ever been happy in his toxic relationship with joowon. He has the chance to be happy with Taku here. And I am 1000% for his happiness.
I can't see why you guys want the reconciliation because it's clear that it wouldn't be good for either of them. Really . But this is just me putting in my two cents
I'm not so sure about Joowon being passionate about his career and acting. It was said he hit the bottom in the past while he was already getting roles... And the one who helped him was Haesoo who once again entered his life.
And mum started to have doubts about the whole thing. About remarriage etc. Especially looking at Joowon's father's reasoning why they should go back together.
"Joowon, wanting to keep their relationship ambiguous so he can enjoy himself without all the consequences ate haesoo away" - idk but there are two people in relationship.
"Joowon, wanting to keep their relationship ambiguous so he can enjoy himself without all the consequences ate haesoo away" -
I also think it wasn't only about enjoying himself. He was scared of consequences. Not only for himself but also for Haesoo.
But I have a feeling if Haesoo and Joowon would end up together (although I doubt it) she would have a key role in that.
And about Joowon. Who knows. We don't have much information about his character beside his and Haesoo's relationship.
I was sad that the thread about him hitting the bottom in the past wasn't deepened. Or generally his career. But in the end it's love triangle.
Ok I understand that. But it's rather simplistic to paint Haesoo as poor victim and Joowon as abuser and put the whole blame on him. Joowon looks to be more arrogant and in control but Haesoo also had control over him. He said himself he did many things just in spite of and to hurt Joowon.
Yup I know it was mentioned so we would get symaloathetic towards Joowon and see the picture how codependent they were on each other. I actually find it rather sad they don't have much of support like friends in their lives. They are rather alienated.
Hmm I'm not sure about the end game and what I'd choose. At this point I'm not convinced to any pair.
Doesn't that still show his own immaturity. He cannot handle the weight of the issues that would come with himself and Haesoo continuing their relationship but he still kept it up. I totally agree that there are two people in a relationship but we can clearly see Haesoo reject Joowon the majority of the time.
I'm not saying that he is entirely not to blame but in the case of their relationship I feel like he carries somewhat more fault for the situation
I wouldn't say Haesoo rejects Joowon majority of the time? They had their little game. Both of them participated in it. If I remember correctly he rejected him in bathroom scene and then hotel scene. But we are literally looking at the veeeery, very end of their "relationship".
For years Haesoo also continued their relationship. Both of them didn't want to face the consequences.
