ooo an actress plot!! theres so much to do with a theme like that.

idm the age-gap, as fmc is seemingly an adult. the art is pretty and i can sense lots of yearning and mutual pining which is right up my alley, this story has great potential.

it is already incredibly relatable, i.e. falling for an older actress lol. but actually getting to be with them, on set or helping them practice and or prep for their roles!!. im so excited for this.

i picked this story up, with the intention of it solely being a way to pass time in random moments of boredom, and ended up binging it in a few days. it has easily become a comfort story of mines.

it so cute. their path to falling in love was everything, i love in romance stories: malori’s resilience, vel’s indecisiveness, hurt/comfort, mutual pining, yearning, protectiveness, trust and not a single time was there a moment either was forced into acts they did not truly want.

this story was just perfect, paced nicely and covered everything that readers needed to know. one thing i wish was a filler chapter(s) with cecillia, just me begging for it bc shes just so funny, i love her sm.

such a great story, with a perfect ending.

the art is so pretty, the plot is fun and intriguing; this truly would’ve been amazing is they weren’t 16-18 year old step siblings and the egregious amount of sexual assault happening between them and the side couple.

before ch 34 dropped i saw a comment saying, “income the casual racism” or something along those lines due to the end of ch 33. ofc, they were not wrong.

i hate the barbarism troupe with a burning passion. it never fails that the characters plagued with this troupe are the only tanned characters of importance and conveniently are also the only fantasy ethnicity not inspired from a european or east asian one.

i truly liked how this story was moving along, though not something unique or exceptional, it has a nice pace. which, imo, is perfect for revenge stories. we didn’t have to see ariana struggle for long or lose sight of her revenge. everyone is getting their due karma and its heavy blows every time and i just love that.

however, this troupe will just ruin this entirely for me. will the karka kingdom people be these stereotypical “predators and savages” that prey on the poor sweet fmc? or a big misunderstanding because everyone just racially profiled them and didn’t take a chance to check their bias until ariana influenced them to.

what a shame.

as always beautiful art, and standardized smut without plot.

since bad thinking diary, ive always heard that the illustrator of these stories isn’t the actual author, atp im inclined to believe its not true. or its a duo, one writers, the other draws because how do you illustrate the same toxic mess consistently.

gorgeous art. a whiny fmc, asshole stoic and or crazy passive love interest(s), smut, full panel breast shot, obsessive bitch that comes between them, random unnecessary sexual assault, conflict, smut, mc indecisive for no reason, smut, climax, smut with mc crying in a way that makes it seems like shes miserable what happened but she put herself in the situation, so she is also aroused. rinse. repeat.

i never get tired of reading them because they are truly toxic yuri. the story is so short and mainly for the sake of smut so it never compels me to root for any of them (except for lily of the valley anna)

i liked that yujin decided to exposes the professor rather than letting her off and seonmin being turned off by how pathetic she was lmao. big props for this story not having useless sa. for that this one didn't piss me off much like others did.

wholesome perfection.

miss starts out disliking the rain, only for it to end up being the very thing that leads her to true love and happiness; so by the end of the story shes now content with it.

her day being sunny when she’s in the company of the love interest, and when she thinks of her life without her, it begins to drizzle. destiny (fate) gives her a chance; the life she’s made for herself or the one its made for her. when she chose the life she made herself, it began to rain again.

after time passes, destiny gives her that chance again. they reunite on a rainy day, and miss accepts the life she truly wants, the one destiny made for hers and so the rain stops.

a detail i really loved was the day she denies herself the life destined for her, is also the day she received the bookmark.

up until that point, she had read to the middle of the book, which is were she places it that night. that was she realizes her feeling, but she denies letting herself act upon them, which leads to their separation and the bookmark being thrown from that spot. when we see her calling to break off the engagement, shes holding the bookmark without her ring on. she’s started over and when they reunite, when she finally accepts her feelings, its back to the middle of the book again.

she worked her way back to that point, rather than a meek attempt to confront her feelings, she full on confesses, changing the trajectory of the (her) story. the rain stops, she receives the kiss she was once denied before, she can tolerate the rain, and doesn’t remove her ring when shes home. she has a relationship she cherishes.

this is so long but i couldn’t help it, this story is so precious.

usually the requirements for masc sapphics in most queer media is a delicate-faced woman with short hair dressed in streetwear. slap a dress on her and she was just another fem.

so seeing a masc that is actually masc presenting to the point she passes as a man, such a pleasant experience. she wasn't just tall but also broad, her features weren’t as soft as the femmes and she was wholly muscular. seok-ju is so butch, and i really loved that.

i also loved how perverted she was. sapphic media is usually forced to be so cookie-cutter perfect, it a nice change to see it be unserious like most bl’s. that being said dub-con isn't my thing. i wish it had been tagged. that the only thing i really disliked about this story.

overall it was an okay oneshot. i loved the artstyle, so i hope to see more work by whomever is the illustrator.
