I used to be so upset during the forceful scene, and I would be so mad that it was forgotten and forgiven so easily. But now I realize that I have no right to tell someone (even fictional characters) what they should and shouldn’t forgive. It’s their relationship and they are both adults.

I made a similar comment to what you're saying about this a while back. It drags the whole thing down from what otherwise would be really top shelf. I wish it had been a fist fight or something - that could be actually forgiven without major trauma and damage to the relationship...

Why is everybody hating on Maya? They both need to communicate better and get over their insecurities. And yes both of them are insecure and afraid of losing one another. But to hate on Maya is a bit extreme. He is not just a sexy douche seme anymore, he has to be one of the few characters I’ve seen in yaoi to actually have development. The same can be said about Nemu. That’s why I love this manga so much. They both have grown and this is will just better their relationship, once everything is said and cleared. Point is stop making Maya seem like a jerk when they both just need to better communicate. Maya came out to his father and stayed by Nemu not hiding that he loved him. He gave up his entire life and his working hard to move forward with Nemu by his side. Did everybody forget that just because he is afraid of losing Nemu and decided (stupidly) to lie?
