The Perfect Ending Plan of a Fairy Tale Villainess
ch58
i love seeing the sister-sister relationship between mc and lalisa!!!!!!!!!!!!! nothing feels rushed, the storyline is pretty fresh (aside from the reused tropes like reincarnation, being in evil sisters body n stuff).
overall, good read if you’re looking for some fluff to kick your legs to LALISA IS JUST SO CUTEEEJDJSNBF
My Mom Entered a Contract Marriage
not bad, but not all that complex of a read either.
“the mother is complex”, no, she’s not. she’s virtually unaffected by the world around her as she regresses, suddenly becomes empress, and comes to start loads of businesses. that doesn’t erase the fact that she spent an entire lifetime abusing her daughter—even selling her off to a 70yr old count at the age of 16 just to get a buck off her. even after being cast back in time, it’s just money, money, money. money is all she thinks about. in the most turbulent time of this 8 year olds life, the one time she really NEEDS her mother, her mother’s too busy sleeping with the emperor to see her. she says she’s doing this for lyrica, but her actions speak otherwise. she’s selfish to her core, and that selfishness only happens to be beneficial for MC. she wants to think of herself as a trustful and good mother, when in reality, 70 chapters in, she’s barely even stepped up more than once or twice.
aside from that, i quite like the writing of lyrica at the start. believable for a child going through an unimaginable situation on her own. she doesn’t heal, but she doesn’t regress. at the end of the day, only she will be the one to remember the abuse she received from her mother when she was a child—as her mother will be too busy rolling around with the emperor or drowning in gold coins to even consider an ounce of her daughter’s pain now that she’s “given” her a good life. i say given in quotes because it wasn’t even done from her heart, organically, but crafted as a means of escape from the impoverished life they lived.
all around, it’s nice fluff seeing lyrica go around and have fun with her new brother and that duke’s kid. id say its more of a read if you’re looking for some fluff with occasional angst—but nothing too deep. maybe i’m just bitter, but i don’t see how people can feel anything but something akin to passiveness for the mother.
The Youngest Princess
lil bit of a stale read. its the repeated trope where everybody loves mc, literally. BUT HOW COULD NOBODY LOVE LITTLE CUTIE ENISHAAAAA SHES SO ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love and live to see her and her families silly interactions, waiting to see where the plot goes with how all this started out fs
It’s My First Time Being Loved
silly little adventures w baby anastasia, lala, damian, and mikhail, are so nice to see. it’s a nice lighthearted read—seeing the way anastasia comes to accept the love given to her and how her love translates into protection. im looking forward to reading more of this!
also I LOVE THE PARENTS SO MUCH THE DUKE AND GRAND DUKE ARE SO CUTE LMAOOOO
