Readers judgements are so black and white. Yes, mc is not a great person. He is selfish and spoilt. It’s called character flaws. Not every character is intended to be sympathised with to the max. Obviously we will see his character develop throughout the story.
ikr it pains me that ppl want a bland no personality flaw. in mty opinion this MC is more entertaining and likeable in fiction
