I think you might be right. I think he is the sunbae. I think the guy said he was disgusting but then ended up sleeping with him but they probably got caught by someone and they both got ostracized. So the other guy blames him and he blames himself. Then he tried to kill himself so he wouldn't suffer anymore but the sunbae wants him to suffer cuz he feels like he ruined his life. That's just my guess. that's what usually happens in these stories.
