Is there anything more romantic than two people in love that go against all odds to be together, even destiny like this case? I love that mc chooses the one he loves and not the guy he's actually supposed to be with. You cannot force feelings, even things like fate fail sometimes, and a love so strong that beats fate is something unique, barely seen on BL and I'm a sucker for it. As much as I love destined partners, I also love those couples that don't choose their destined partner and go for the one they actually love instead

Honestly the second lead is coercive and manipulative, has already taken advantage of mc with the "I'll help you cause I'm your destined partner" even when mc clearly not only doesn't like him but also has someone else that he indeed likes, but still coerced mc to go along using the attraction caused by pheromones to "help". Second lead gives me a huge ick, hate him. ML is obsessive, but the second is even worse, he's a fake green flag, a watermelon, fake green outside but pure red on the inside.

I appreciate the realistic portrayal of rape showing blood cause it really makes the readers feel sick, which the censored ones don't really accomplish when it's not violent and that means readers often sympathize with rapists... But it's really painful to watch, made me feel truly sick and I hope this poor vampire will kill'em all... I stand by the vampire with huge man tiddies...

You know the story is actually really good when the secondary gender of omegaverse is not the main focus in the story and barely mentioned. The omegaverse relationship they have is almost never mentioned, which is weird giving how much sex they have, a baby wouldn't surprise anyone at this point
Everyone acting as if the flashbacks were unbereable cause y'all are here just for the smut of the second couple. That's so sad cause the story is so well written, and the flashbacks are really important to understand the characters personalities and how did they all met, also how entangled the secondary characters are with the main. It's rare to find such good stories like this one, with a whole fictional world to show us, a whole political background with power struggles and many factions that remind me of hunger games, and everyone is sleeping on the story, just desperate to see the secondary couple have sex...
