Because they don't get a penny from an unauthorized translation/distribution. They can only get paid if the readers read the story from official channel (even then, they only get a fraction of profit cut)
Still though if they want people to read it they should at least get it translated, can’t get mad at people for wanting to read your story but can’t because it’s not in their language
but alot of people cant even read it cause they don't understand the language so why does it matter if its getting translated. the author knows a lot of people are a fan of their story yet the author doesn't even want to collaborate with someone to translate their story. ik its their story but damn.
Because in addition to the author and artist not getting paid for illegal tranlations, sites like mangago profit off these scans. Also, this series is available officially in English on Tappytoon.
It is currently coming out on the Tappytoon app where you pay per chapter (although fairly new on their so not many chapters out yet) so I imagine the author wants to have people read it there so they can make some money.
Which I understand, its when authors ask and there is no possible way to read it in your native language that sucks.

man this wouldve been rlly good but the story is rlly rushed, almost no backstory about the mc, 0 personality besides his wonky ass smirk. characters just pop out of no where with almost no explanations as to how they know him yada yada.

I like this story but I would rather have her be the one picking out men, sitting above them and looking down, having choice, ya know. That would still be sexist but it would at least make her be in the position of a queen.

In a way explaining that this "goddess" but really a "sex slave" thing is rooted in that old idea that was reality (was cuz progress). I'm basically making a link. It would be cool if she was a "goddess", treated like a "goddess" and not a sex slave. Ya know, if she had a slight position of power as expected of a "goddess" in this fictional story.
Frankly I dont think that anyone would say "goddesses are treated as sex slaves" while talking about reality. I'm talking about fiction as well and I wouldn't want women to hold power over men irl, I want equality and not female domination....
