I've been putting off reading but now that I'm done I kinda feel bittersweet. it was good but I feel like it fell apart midway through s2. Somehow I feel really sad about Ryan and for some reason I don't feel like there is a clear conclusion to Chang. His and Ed's relationship was so depressing. He deserved the cruelty he got (mostly the indifference) but that still left me bitter for some reason.
i want ryan to have an arc on his own, he desrved better

you know it's been a while but I came back here to re read it and after looking at the comments, kids on mangago are just so hilarious. y'all always scream about rape in bl and protecting the characters etc., but then you meet a character (the nurse here) who was violently raped (gang raped even) and it left with him with such huge trauma that it changed him for the "worse" and y'all call him a slut and wish him bad things. Sure, that does not excuse his shitty behavior but lol hypocrisy at its finest lmfao

After all those chapters I personally believe Yuri and the teacher both have awful behaviors but in different ways lmao Jiri should definitely get his shit together, he has been wallowing in self pity, drinking, using other people to ease his pain, almost got himself in a dangerous situation, it's time to stop man. I think this story makes sense tbh. At this point I don't think being nice to Jiri would help him, he is clearly too far gone. As much as I dislike it maybe a harsh treatment is a way to go here,,, he won't listen otherwise maybe someone needs to shake him.

I actually always wanted to see this couple develop so I don't mind but I agree that in general they are dragging the Yuki part of this story wayy too much. The thing is that it would not be a bad thing IF we could see some Mafuyu/Ue development but we DON'T see that. If we didn't focus SO MUCH on other characters (more like their relationships) and continued to develop Yuki and Mafuyu/Ue as a central part of the story with side character on the, well, side, then I think ppl would be more satisfied.
exactly! everytime it looks like the story's gonna focus on mafuyu and ritsuka a side couple gets the center stage, first with akihiko/haruki/ugetsu and now the whole thing with hiiragi/shizusumi. it would be okay if the main couple got their story flowing alongside the side couple's but they get shoved to the corner.
