it's genuinely so interesting trying to figure out who the informant is. i mean, the first thing that u think of is that it was just fabricated by someone in the church (like richelieu). that would be an easy way to go. but theo could also be a very strong candidate because he would be achieving his major goal: swooping in to save shuri in her darkest moment (thank u shuri for clocking his tea) AND separating her from jeremy. a less interesting candidate might be someone like lucas. the only way i could imagine this happening was if he was promised his life in return for giving this testimony (but honestly i think this is also more boring in comparison to the other options). honestly my vote is for theo. it makes the most sense to me but maybe i'm wrong!!
wait wait wait wait quick recap for my own sake. so "normal mode" is what ORIGINALLY happened in their world. and when the world was taken over, vinter sacrificed himself to create a time loop to last until ORIGINAL penelope could defeat leila. but original penelope's soul was turned to "dust" with all of the regressions--stopping the time loop entirely--until a fragment of original penelope's soul was reincarnated and it restarted again. so that the REINCARNATED penelope (our protagonist) could fulfill original penelope's role and stop leila.
so does this mean that our penelope is actually the ORIGINAL penelope (like same soul entirely), or does she just have a tiny bit of original penelope's soul mixed in with her own soul? did the game seek our penelope out so that she could fulfill her purpose?
honestly i love the way that theyre FULLY leaning into catholicism. its so refreshing bc catholicism is generally extremely implied in like every single historical manhwa atp but it's usually understated. like i think it really adds a lot to the world building in a way a lot of other manhwa miss out on...im not even catholic i js respect the grind yk.

did anybody else drop this after reading the part where serena and eiser boinked for the first time? ik this chapter was a long time ago but.....i was js so put off by the fact that eiser never told her about ANYYYTHING before just hopping right into it (figuratively and literally☹)...like no heads up at all even when he KNEW(!!!) she didn't have any education i js kept thnking abt how terrified i would be if i was in her situation. maybe other ppl saw a different pov? i haven't read this since then and ik this series is rlly popular but i js dk if its worth it after that
