Damn, Won Dae’s finally growing a backbone. First he said no to Yoonwon, now he’s threatening red hair too. Meanwhile I’m over here biting the air every time Yoonwon breathes on screen. That man is so fucking hot it should be illegal. Dae Dae’s stronger than me…if it were me, I’d be folded like a lawn chair before he even opened his mouth.

I know this one is messed up, and it’s getting a justifiable amount of hate for obvious reasons. But here are a few things I actually liked
- At first glance, this seems like just another smutty manhwa with little to no plot but the characters are surprisingly well written. I felt genuine dread imagining what it would be like to fall for someone like Jaihee, who’s basically a parasite. He doesn’t contribute anything meaningful, just leeches off Chunho and even his past girlfriends. That kind of visceral reaction is a sign of good character writing in my book.
- Chunho’s internal struggle, his slow surrender to Jaihee, and his realization of his own feelings were handled well too. I appreciated how self aware he was. He knows he’s a piece of shit, and he doesn’t pretend otherwise.
- The author handles some extremely heavy themes in such a lighthearted way that it pushes your internal boundaries. It leaves you unsure how to feel and I actually enjoyed the conflict this one created.
- And for a smut manhwa, it had no business being this funny. Aside from the violent scenes, I was laughing almost every chapter. Jaihee’s constant misuse of words and phrases gave strong Michael Scott energy.

Why is he still trying so hard to imitate Namhyun? Wasn’t the whole point to win over Yijae? Now that Yijae has finally confessed, you’d think he’d stop…but instead, he gets mad when asked to drop the act. Honestly, it feels like Minhyung might actually be in love with Namhyun, not Yijae. They went from an emotional “I like you” hug to a zoomed in ass poke in the next panel. Peak storytelling.

So I found the raws, and I’m a bit confused, mainly because the fan translations don’t make much sense. But I don’t think it’s outright rejection. It feels more like they have completely different definitions of love.
On their last date, Taeyoon kept trying to confess. When he finally sort of did, the response wasn’t what he expected. While Taeyoon wanted a normal relationship, Jaemin wanted something else entirely, he wants Taeyoon to suffer for him, the way he suffered because of Taeyoon’s actions in the past. He wants Taeyoon’s mind consumed by him.
To me, this doesn’t feel like rejection, just a seriously messed up version of love. Anyway, does anyone know if this is based on a novel? Please drop the title if you do.
