This isn’t a divorce, since they were never an official couple to begin with. And if Pung-ho tries to leave with the kid, the IPO will butt in, because this is meant to be a shared parenting project. It feels like a cliffhanger for now, but I think once season 2 starts, they’ll be back together from the very first chapter. And this time, they’ll make it official.

He’s got a “soft spot” for the kid, alright. Only reason he’s suddenly helping now, is because he got a crush on a minor. Honestly, his backstory isn’t making me like him any more…it’s doing the opposite.
I feel so bad for MC. Dude deserves so much better. These adults failed him a whole lot
Pretty amazing he turned out this good, considering he didn’t have great role models to follow.
What are you talking about? Where is even implied that he likes him in a weird way when he still was underage?
This!! Nothing showed he had any interest in him when he was a minor and there’s barely anything I see now that he’s an adult
Oh, so unless he spells it out like a cartoon villain, this behavior isn’t weird. He’s been stalking him from his home to his judo practice, all under the “just being nice and looking out for him” excuse. Even got himself a stalker disguise. What a gentleman!
You are making no sense. He had never stalked him.
Did we read the same thing? He didn't stalk him, I think he is weird in the present, but nothing in the backstory seemed odd to me (obviously except the loan shark thing)
If standing outside his judo studio in a hat to hide his identity isn’t stalking, then I’m fresh out of arguments.
Read about the patterns of stalking, please. Standing ONE time next to his gym to see if he is fine is NOT stalking. Please don't invalidate real stalking cases with something like this.
Broski what? He is standing outside of his judo because its his way of checking up on him bc he feels guilty about his dad beating him. Thats why he let the late payments slide so his dad would go easy on him and then checks up on him to see if that helps lessen the beatings. Like come on he mentioned it at least 3 times why he was doing it. He feels guilty for contributing to the misery a kind kid
I’ll admit, there’s not much evidence against him right now, but some of his actions are definitely uncomfortable. If clearer proof of his innocence comes out, I’ll eat my words. I appreciate you all staying civil despite having opposing opinions.
That is a very different statement and I even agree with that. In the present some things are uncomfortable
