rereading this. dooshik is actually scary when he's mad. i understand why he do what he did. but chp 78-79 is still crazy and terrifying to me... like i wish he could choose other forms of revenge. this story is definitely not for those with weak stomachs.
the earlier chapters seem much lighter and goofier tho. it's actually cute and i really enjoy it. i love dooshik and jooha's relationship as always. they are very sweet (especially jooha, that poor baby deserves every happiness).
upon rereading, i also realize that jooha said something like "they can't take our memories away" (referring to his good memories with dooshik) when one of the twin kidnapped him. and at the end, jooha ended up being amnesiac. idk if it's on purpose aka a foreshadowing, but i think it's very neat details... he ends up losing his memories (both bad and good). idk how to feel about that ending tbh hahaha :")
i also love how in the earlier chapter, dooshik fell in love with jooha after (almost) drowning. in the climax of the story, they also (almost) drowning. and the story also ends with both of them drowning. it's actually a nice parallel i think.

this is sooo cute and wholesome
i'd love to write some cultural context that wasn't explained here. tl team did great (thanks for the hard work!), but i feel like adding more context could help with understanding the story more! hope you don't mind:
- about the grade 12 green outfit: there's an idiom in china "wearing a green hat". this idiom roughly translates to "cukcold" and used when a woman cheats on her husband or boyfriend. that's why they despise the green outfit. PLUS why xiao yan felt it's a bad luck when people started to approach our little peach. or you cold just think of the more universal "green = envy" context.
- about what our lil peach called xiao yan in ch 97: it's blurry but he called xiao yan "lao gong" (meaning: husband) while doing it... that's why our xiao yan became so excited HAHAHA
- a lot of the classmates are illustrated eating watermelons in several chapters. in china, "eating watermelon" is a slang for bystanders enjoying the drama / rumour / gossip . think of it just like "grabbing a popcorn" or something.
- in china, military training is required for freshman when they first enroll in school and university. that's why they have that training session with military outfits
feel free to correct me if im wrong. this manhua is just sooo cute (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
THIS IS SOO GOOD. the artstyle is so yummy. everyone is so beautiful. even the side characters like vee (loves how he carries titi's hair with him)!!!
the main couple is amazing. both are powerful and their complete each other. their dynamic is so cute. mimi's PTSD story is also very well-written!!!
