Not just you don't worry, I'm so confused what's going on or how we've got to this point I might've missed a chapter maybe I have no idea.
Rough attempt at at a break down of where we are currently at:
So after that car dump shoot out Jake, and Shin by extension, got made. Even though Shin wasn't involved with Jake's undercover plan to bring down the mercifuls and some other corrupt people, it LOOKED like he was apart of it. So he had to run (plus he was mad af because Jake turned out to be CIA and a deceiver). Fast forward to after Gren died and Jake chipping in to help, I think Shin accepted be was involved and also wants revenge for Gren's death so he decided he'll work with Jake and the others to finish the operation.
