They can't shape shift. They are just perspectives from animals, as how they see each other. It's just drawn as human. The human maybe able to see them like that because the creator Mr want it or because he has a deep connection with animals.
Rather than them shifting into human in front of camera, I'm wondering if anyone has seen them having sex under camera.
