I’m tired of how she keeps blaming him even though he’s actually innocent he’s just really REALLY bad with expressing himself and that gets mistaken for ulterior motives. She’s supposed to be smart I get that but she’s too trusting of that criminal bodyguard of hers. The way she keeps misunderstanding her fiancé’s every move is getting on my nerves like jesus pls he was just labeled as a “suspect” not the actual serial killer. Reading this in the first few chapters I really had my doubts with the Duke but with how the story is progressing it’s safe to say it’s definitely not him so she should really stop being so uneasy with him all the time considering he’s opening his heart to her and I feel bad knowing there’ll be a day where he’ll get to know his fiancé is not really in love with him and is just playing with him then they’ll really be back to square one
