I've been reading a bunch of "monster" /mythological rom stories lately trying to find something with a similar vibe to this but have found absolutely nothing (besides like actual evil monsters or basically a normal human with horns drawn on). "Innocent/misunderstood monster falls in love" is what I'm looking for. Any recs while I'm waiting for this to update..?

If we all just forget about the last 10 chapters for a second, then this is an AMAZING manhwa. Sure its dark but besides the ending its very well done. The art is beyond all expectation, the plot is really interesting and I like the romance and the couple a lot. If the ending was as good as I was expecting, I definitely would have put this in my top 10 favorite BL manhwa/ manga.

Also, if you just read until chapter 41 and imagine Giju goes off and finds Yuju
(and maybe he nearly dies by that assassin who his step mother hired or something just to make things interesting + all the weird psychological shit is happening while he's unconscious), Giju and Yuju come back (from the hospital) and live happily ever after with Young-do, (lets say both the parents end up in jail (fuckers), Giju gets custody of lil sis and Young-do's gangster friends take care of any other problems~) ignore all the loose ends, add some smutty, fluffy extras of course, and BAM- a masterpiece.

Personally, my biggest disappointment with this was I never got to see Giju top Young-do after Lee Uin Sensei teased it- but maybe that's just me... ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I've been waiting on this one forever. One of my favorites by harada and I'm sure it will only get better (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I stopped having hope for this somewhere between the main character’s friend revealing herself to be a crazy hoe and the main character suddenly becoming beautiful (and from that point staying “beautiful” though the power of makeup… and just choosing to be blind? There is no way she got contacts that fast). This was actually one of the most disappointing aspects of the story for me because the reason I even picked this up was because I thought this would be a story of an “ugly” (or at the very least not stereotypically pretty) girl overcoming her insecurities and being with a man who saw her as beautiful for just exactly the way she is.
I could even get past that, but the story became just too cliched drama and it was obvious where it was going, and the characters just weren’t acting like real human beings. I tried to power through but somewhere in chapter 44 I couldn’t take it anymore and just skipped through it to chapter 45 where they get together and ofc Richen is all “it’s all my fault” and isn’t mad or betrayed anymore and literally just kisses her the moment they meet and then they go to the bridge like what world are they living in?? And she somehow got crazy famous after only ONE week (regardless of her entire career struggling/ online following) just because she was suddenly “beautiful” so now everyone likes her? What kind of message is the author trying to spread here? It’s not even realistic. The gossip magazine cover at the end really fit the way this story was going but I have absolutely no will to read any farther.

Honestly from what I’ve read (to Ch.7 on Lezhin) I think this is going to not be what everyone’s expecting > the mc being with both of them at the same time. It kinda looks like he’s continuing his relationship with his boss and making himself emotionally available for his past love which he feels guilty about and therefore gets closer to the boss giving both of them a shot at who he’s gunna end up with bc idk I think the boss really does have a fair shot (he probably wont- but he does have a shot) if you’ve read to the point I have. I’m predicting the farthest the cheating will go is mayyyybe they’ll sleep together once while the other guy still doesn’t know anything (I doubt it but this Manhwa does have a lot of sex) but with how guilty the mc is already acting I think if anything involving sex does happen he’ll confess to the boss right away... (or try to break up) and the boss is so whipped idk what will happen from there but I’ll have to drop this if he gets hurt or knows he’s cheating but stays with him anyway -I already care about him too much... MC is more loyal to him than I was originally expecting (and maybe it is just guilt idk) but because of that idk who to ship because they are both kinda growing on me. I kinda want to give the MC his past love and take the boyfriend for myself. (I am the optimistic and rooting for the underdog type so I could be completely wrong about all this too).

I was trying to hold off on this so I could binge read it when it was done but gave in when I saw it was Lezhin’s #1 webtoon of the year. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
