Yes,I've seen better art than this but I don't think it's that bad who knows maybe this is the artists signature style ¯_(ツ)_/¯.
And a lot of manhwas that are adapted from the novels doesn't follow the novels cover art.

I wouldn't say this artstyle is bad,, just very simplified. It wouldn't surprise me if the artist(s) of this manwha were strapped for time in drawing the panels so they overall simplified the character designs in order to save time :)

Jaekyung's panel...his face (after Dan gets to his knees crying ) is the face of someone who is not only in physical pain but it is also the face of someone who is emotional and feels betrayed.
Dan never told him about the meeting and they send him those photos.. Dan haven't told him anything and he didn't ask him either,knowing his character i dont know why he didnt say anything to Dan, accusing him etc..i think he believed that Dan is not that kind of person and he would never betrayed him...but after the spray accident he lost it...(I think someone betrayed him in the past)
