read this up to ch 25, and... lets get this straight:
- grown man takes in a troubled teenager
- provides him with shelter & food
- calls him pretty on multiple occasions
- develops feelings for said teenager, who's a minor if i may add
- irresponsibly does not lock his door during a hookup, forgivable but then
- offers the teenager to sleep with him, then plays it off as a joke cuz he doesn't wanna sleep with a minor
- finds out the minor turned 18 a few hours ago, so proceeds to sleep with him
yeah chat... this is not looking good. i mean, what difference does a few hours make? it literally just seems like he was scared of the law (AND HE'S A PROSECUTOR!) and not that he was genuinely repulsed by the idea of sleeping with a minor. a few hours didn't magically turn the mc into an adult, he's literally still a troubled child compared to the grown ass settled man. its a shame cuz even in just 25 chapters, there were moments that did touch me. i could relate to the main character as well. i might even pretend this never happened & continue this but... it really is a shame.
+ if i may add, people who are criticizing others who found this weird, everybody is allowed to have opinions and is allowed to express them. if u found this unproblematic, good for you, but let others talk about what they thought of it too. its not that personal

yall gonna hate me for this but this is... literally just ass now. haesoo should not be fucking around with that fuckass manipulative bitch but should be working on herself. author literally gave her two panels worth of character development where she bought new clothes for herself and called it a day. girlie literally got out of a long ass toxic rs and you're throwing her into another objectively unhealthy one how the fuck am i supposed to root for them when haesoo is genuinely boring as fuck and ik nothing about the male lead except that he's obsessed and rich and probably has a typical sob story backing him up. ik this is a smut i shouldn't be expecting much but even the smut is boring as fuck. ik yall gonna say oh the author just hasnt properly started delving into the story yet well its been more than 50 fucking chapters man. how is it that i know more about jay than the literal male lead. anyway I'll be holding out in case the author miraculously decides to add more depth to the characters & story but i dont have high hopes.
I still really love the story and will read until the end, BUT... I have to admit that you're right. It's been 53 chapters but there hasn't been much development on any front, be it Haesoo's (we're getting there but she still has to work on her confidence and happiness without becoming dependant on another man), Mincheol's karma (WHEN IS IT COMINGGG) or the romantic relationship (there are still too many secrets on Taeha's part to feel completely sincere, although it's obvious he does love her, or at least is obsessed with her). There's still SO much stuff that needs to be addressed so I'd say we're not even half way done with the story yet... I wish the plot was moving faster than it is now, especially since I'm buying each chapter in the raws every week hoping to see some actual development (apart from the smut) and am left a tiny bit disappointed everytime there isn't any
