It’s annoying to see these really cool female side characters get drag into liking the main male character. They become jealous and annoying or always used as a damsel in distress. Even when it’s a strong female character, authors will literally go against their own character structure.
Like normalize co-ed groups please. Have some diversity for once and it’s a chance to stand out from all the other action stories

Why do action stories usually involve harems:/ can’t they do a well matched co-ed group for once. It’s unnecessary, this isn’t even a romance story.
