I enjoyed the timeline of recalling mc memories throughout the series, and his built up persona slowly breaking down. However, the major complaint I have is on the horror side with the dark room plot.
I wish it delved deeper into the dark rooms malice. The idea was organic, an original concept, so I would have loved to see more about it, because two kids getting locked into a room where “they can’t look into the mirrors” just doesn’t do it the justice to the rest of the writing in my opinion…..
The art tho? ATE I LOVED THE ART MC WAS SO CUTE WHEN HE MUNCHED ON FOOD
PERSONALLY I THINK IT EATS.Yes, the plot is fast paced but it’s meant to be.
The only issues I have is
1. The age gap is crazy in this one
2. The art in a few panels could 100% be better.
3. Open plot (who the dad married and why mc looks similar to the princess, ending result with side couple etc.)
That’s literally it, lmao.
Because despite the simple writing the author added a good conflict between the two. Added a whole side couple, gave the family enough character without needing to go deep into their past, a bit of humor, and had a sweet ending!
And despite MC having a leaner frame, proved mc can hold his weight with his sword! Which gives more depth into mcs character.
So my rating is a 8.89/10
Yeah the Mc was quite strong after all, glad he wasn't made to be weak :)
