I first read this when it only had 15 chapters, left it to cook and realized I might have left it to cook too long when I saw the physical book at the book store whoops... Amazing read definitely worth the wait!
SHJ being the king and HYJ being the queen hahaha feels like we have shippers working on the manhwa! Though I feel like talking chess pieces wise the opposite is more accurate since SHJ is insanely powerful so the queen is more fitting than the king who can barely move. If HYJ dies basically everything falls apart, and just like the king spends his time being protected by the other pieces considering how weak he is compared to the them which is why he's more fit for the king imo.
For now I'm enjoying this manwha but everytime I reach the comments everyone's hating on the female characters... I find this really odd since imo they haven't done anything evil or annoying? Am I missing something?

Back in the extra when it was technically not canon, mc didn't care at all that Hatano had a thing for him since he had 3 years, really pushed his lazy personality to the extreme, it was pretty funny. Seems the author decided to go a completely different direction with their relationship now, kind of odd to see the mc get all worked up since he's been handling all the flags thrown at him pretty easily so far. Excited to see what the author's cooking.
Even now... I can't root for anyone...! all the options are too good (except that adult he's creepy) I feel like no matter who he ends up with it'll leave me a bit bitter
Checked out the author's twitter (not the one @ it was apparently another one) there's a bunch of extra content especially of the brother's friend group. It's nice to see Hatano since he doesn't have many chapters in the story there's one where he talks about his big brother and another where he goes to MCs house for valentine. Mc of course isn't home but it's nice nonetheless you guys should check it out.
This manga is insane the author must have a bunch of mental illnesses. Good read overall not a big fan of everyone being nonchalant of the active rapist, but it's entertaining
