Really hate how the fuckass artist cut off so many important parts from the novel ,read the novel guys don't waste your time reading this unfinished and incompletely drawn manhwa ,the author should've chosen a better artist cause this had so much potential in the adaptation.

Just say you're a snowflake girl. Are you sure you’ve even read the novel properly? There’s such a lack of expression, and so many bits are missing throughout. It’d honestly take a full paragraph just to list every little thing that’s been left out, many other novel readers have pointed also pointed this out .
For example that scene during the meeting where that one guy warns the ML about sending a “gift,” which later turns out to be the knife in the meal, leading to the MC cutting his hand. Or all the moments where the ML finds the MC voluntarily taking drugs, their conversations during those times had such weight, and they’ve been skipped or rushed. The time ML finds the MC wandering, the MC’s inner thoughts then, the depth of the hospital scenes, and especially the parts that delve into the MC’s hate, they were all important.also when the freckled girl reveals everything, the reason she did what she did and the MC’s past she brings up they didn't even mention that,There are literally so many parts like these.
I can go on and on,The adaptation feels rushed, like they crammed 100+ chapters into just 50. Be fr rn. Either you missed all that, or you're blind, because as a novel reader, I can say the novel is so detailed and beautiful, and this artist just didn’t do justice to the story at all.

You're getting seriously heated because I disagreed with you and you have the audacity to call me a snowflake? Things necessarily get cut out when a novel is adapted, there is only so much time and so much funding for manhwa. I agree that the artist for this adaptation didn't put in every single thought that each of them had during the novel, and even some entire minor arcs were removed, but I think that the manhwa is still beautiful and impactful with what made it off the cutting room floor. The whole point of a visual medium is that the facial expressions, body language, and place settings are taken care of by the art.
I think that within the constraints of all manhwa, this artist has done a pretty good job. You're free to disagree, but your response is a massive overreaction to a genuine question I had about why you were disappointed by the adaptation.

Not the “I’m better than you” tone If you don’t agree with someone’s opinion, just scroll past the comment. Why are you so eager to prove me wrong with your “analysis”? I called you a snowflake because you got triggered by my comment first, calling it “harsh” and asking what’s bothering me, so I answered. But then you got even more worked up, calling my response “overheated.” Like, seriously girl? It’s not that deep.
And no! the artist did ruin the novel. Those weren’t “minor arcs.” They were essential for understanding the plot and the characters’ emotional depth. They even changed key story elements, for example, turning the reunion scene into some romantic flowers-and-sparkles moment, when in the novel, the MC is still deeply traumatized. Not to mention, they magically made his drug addiction disappear overnight. In the novel, he goes through serious withdrawal symptoms like seizures, hallucinations, the works. That’s not a small detail to skip.
So yeah, readers who haven’t read the novel are getting a totally different version of the story. You might think the adaptation is “well done,” but clearly, it’s not , and anyone with common sense or who actually read the novel would agree. Most novel fans share this opinion, so I’m not just talking out of nowhere.
If you liked the manhwa, that’s fine. That’s your opinion. But don’t expect everyone else to agree, and don’t get offended when someone criticizes it. I’ll keep pointing out the things that bothered me, you’re free to move on and enjoy it your way.

How can I scroll if I see a notification of someone replying to my comment separately?? That sounds so stupid. I’ve scrolled past many comments in this very comment section that I didn’t agree with by simply downvoting them. I don’t argue about something obvious just to prove myself right when I’m actually wrong. And whatever I said is true in the first place. As a novel reader, it was just something I felt was off about the adaptation. I don’t know why some of you are so offended for no reason, lol It’s actually funny,or maybe you’re the same person using different alts, who knows? And it's been days, omg, move on and do something else.

As much as I love twinks and want to breed them, I hate dumb retards with Stockholm syndrome who fall in love with their rapists.

Yeah, I know, but it’s still Stockholm syndrome. He liked him before because he didn’t know his true personality,he thought Wooyeon was a good person. But even after being graped multiple times and seeing how crazy he really is, he could’ve left or at least stopped liking him but mf still loved him after allat
Can this red-haired bitch fuck off already?? I seriously need to see him get beaten to a fucking pulp. And that dumbass bitch who's still with him after knowing all that shit about his relationship? She needs to come to her senses too,no one in their right mind would like this little shit unless they’re another dumb bitch like Heeseo. If I were there, first of all, I'd knock some fucking sense into the women in this story for even liking this red-haired bitch. Sorry guys, I just hate his ass so fucking much I can't stand it. Arghhh.
...I liked ur comment because of our shared hatred against minshit and his side chick but then you called haesoo a "dumb bitch" and my eyebrow RAISED SO HIGH. You choice feminists who hate on Haesoo for being "weak" are as annoying and minshit fans istg. If i said this once, i've said this a hundred times. HAESOO IS A FUCKING GIRLBOSS. Her entire childhood she has been abused physically, verbally, and emotionally, but she STILL caries so much kindness for others. SHe didn't break up with mincheol because mincheol started off nice, but then put all the debt on her name and promised to help her pay it off, but he didn't. But she needed the help so she though atleast when they get officially married they would both take on the debt. Despite that, she was the PRIMARY BREAD WINNER of the house. Also, she was able to open her heart up to another man QUICK instead of dragging it on. Which was SO REFRESHING. she knew she deserved a MAN so she got herself a MAN. Strength is not just one way. But yeah i wish this site had a feature to take away the like cause u got it soooo wrong about her
Bestie, are you okay?? Chill, it was just me ranting (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ dw I love Heeseo too, it's just fiction. I probably shouldn’t have called her a bitch, that was in the heat of the moment, sorry for that. But I still can't agree with the whole “girlboss” thing, sorry, girl I just feel bad for her. Honestly, she came off a little naive to me. Even after knowing Mincheol’s true nature, she didn’t kick him out,he left on his own. And that’s what really frustrated me :3
ofc she didn't kick him out right away Minshit is insane but haesoo is a normal person. Being with someone that long and that person takes up so much of ur time and promises to marry you...u get manipulated to stay. She's a victim of emotional abuse from mincheol and we gotta learn to stop blaming the victims. She most definitely is a girl boss for not losing faith and doing her work diligently and moving on as soon as she realized Mincheol really didn't love her anymore
Ofc she's a victim, but let's not ignore the fact that she's actually dumb. Girl, if it were me, I’d definitely not live with my ex-husband who put the debt in my name, cook for him, and suck up to him by thinking about what he might like or not—even after getting treated like shit. Let’s not normalise being dumb and ignorant ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ I'd kick him out or walk out by myself the moment he put the debt in my name
