I actually like that the backstory shows how great he was when he was younger. Itās realistic. Men become trash regardless of how well they treated you in the beginning. It also shows that he canāt let her go. He has an inferiority complex cause deep down he knows he was never able to really provide for her the way he wanted to. In the end he projected those feelings onto her to make it seem like itās her fault when in reality he became a shitty āhusband.ā
Jo fans have been telling yall TJ isnāt gonna change. He solidified that now. And yall donāt forget the broken leg reference. Remember when your precious TJ ruined his own boyfriendās life on purpose? Yall are fucking sick for excusing his abuse thereās genuinely no excuse. I also think the whole point of this chapter was showing that Ian goes back to TJ in a toxic way. He knows itās bad thatās why he thought of Jo and felt bad about leaving him. But he also knows he doesnāt want the same relationship he had with TJ in the past. I donāt think TJ will change.

Having Jaekyungās backstory earlier in the series shouldnāt change your opinion of him. I saw people complaining that weāre getting his backstory too late cause we wouldāve been reading with more sympathy but there is no excuse for his actions present day. Weāre getting an explanation but not a justification for his actions. I do believe he will probably get some crazy redemption arc but itās a BL manhwa what can you expect

not really i havent seen anyone defend his actions or even say excuse them but knowing the backstory would let us understand jaekyung. now is he the worst ml ive ever seen 100% NOT. so im willing to let the story marinate for awhile so i can see jaekyungs redemption arc.
