I also think the whole point of this chapter was showing that Ian goes back to TJ in a toxic way. He knows it’s bad that’s why he thought of Jo and felt bad about leaving him. But he also knows he doesn’t want the same relationship he had with TJ in the past. I don’t think TJ will change.
He’s literally thinking about Jo while TJ fucks him. He’s also thinking about how he’s not good enough for someone as good as Jo.
Having Jaekyung’s backstory earlier in the series shouldn’t change your opinion of him. I saw people complaining that we’re getting his backstory too late cause we would’ve been reading with more sympathy but there is no excuse for his actions present day. We’re getting an explanation but not a justification for his actions. I do believe he will probably get some crazy redemption arc but it’s a BL manhwa what can you expect
Some people just wanted the "sob backstory" to be drawn so they could have some excuse to defend his actions and his "redemption"
not really i havent seen anyone defend his actions or even say excuse them but knowing the backstory would let us understand jaekyung. now is he the worst ml ive ever seen 100% NOT. so im willing to let the story marinate for awhile so i can see jaekyungs redemption arc.

I actually think this is pretty realistic for ML. He genuinely wants to keep MC to himself so he’s doing things to really throw off the ex and keep him away. At the same time MC is not uncorked so he’s trying to save her the suffering of dealing with her ex. It makes sense it’s just not as revengey as I would hope. But MC doesn’t necessarily want revenge so it makes sense.
