usually when i see plots like this...where one character treated the other mc horribly in their past life but are still forgiven, i hate it BUT they did a good job with claude and athy. even after so many years athy never fully accepted that claude loved her because of what she had remembered of the previous athy but even then she had come to love claude as her dad either ways. claude wasn't unreasonably terrible and they showed us when he would become emotionally unstable sometimes while watching athy and now we (and athy) get a glimpse of what claude's motives were in the first version of the story. basically it's tragic from a reader's perspective and i really just want them to both stop hurting :((

ugh....i really loved this manga. hope that bastard rots in jail. shounen jump isn't serializing this anymore but they wish to support the artist for her future projects and i'm sure she'll have more! she did a really good job. :(

the author is a scammer and bad person in general, yes it's free on webtoon but she made these characters to look exactly like taehyung, jimin, and jungkook as well as the rest of the members which is weird esp profiting off her delusions. don't upload this here smh.

.tldr? basically it looks like it won't be a family type story and the king is quite possessive of nina and seems more romantic than familiar but it hasn't gone far enough to be sure. so it's up to y'all to imagine what's going on but to ME it seems it'll be the king x nina and not the king x saintess like the original story.

so! in a few chapters she'll have a bathtub brought in for her which she uses but a boy (the king's younger half brother?) walks in while she gets out and she slips and bumps her head. she'll wake up in bed dressed and we won't see much of the king for a few chapters but then she goes back to her duties and meets the saintess again. there she and the king talks and he proceeds to pick her up in his arms. he tells nina to promise him she won't go dying/killing herself which she's reluctant to promise. the king asks her why someone would kill her bc nina didn't want to and has a flashback of her past life and misses how simple it was. back to the present she starts laughing with tears in her eyes and looks at him asking if he really didn't know (she thinks to herself that it was ridiculous as it was the king himself who killed nina in the novel and now he's asking her to not die). he just looks at her and she smiles saying she'll try not to. anyways few more chapters in it seems like the king's brother (he's young probably nina's age and same boy he walked in on her and made her slip) starts crushing on her and brings her bouquets often. she's kinda annoyed by him but let's it go lol. then there's a scene where she meets the king again while she's holding some flowers and he picks her up again. i won't get all detailed about the conversation but it's just about his childhood and how that half brother came to be and how he became king. he says something and she (comically, like the funny type panel) spits out blood and he puts her down, takes his glove off, and wipes some of the blood on her lips and tastes it saying he doesn't like sharing what he likes to others (the brother). he then leaves and after he does she blushes like crazy and wonders why he did that and what he meant....so tbh idk where this is going....i thought all three would be really cute as a family including the saintess but she doesn't really show up all that often either and the way he's quite touchy with nina...idk maybe he's just like that but it's something to think about (she also wonders why he's been touchy/affectionate with her). ah most recent chapter some vague stuff happen but it ends with nina holding the prince's hand while walking away with him in the garden. alright i left some big gaps tbh was just too lazy to explain everything hhhh
