I've finished the 1st season and god damn it, IM JUST SO BOREEEED. I don't even know what was I expectin but this is just too simple. Sasha is cute, dresses pink, likes sweets, is cute again, likes cute things... So fucking basic, but her ability to smitten every creature that just took a glance at her is amazing, I'll give her that.
Lilith was.... meh. Just meh.
I'll not talk about how unrealistically stupid the king is, you can be stupid but wtf, and how easy it's to ignore one's social standing and gossip right in front of the person involved. I mean, huh? I get it if you wanna gossip about Rebecca or other influental noble, but shouldn't you be more cautious while doing so? At least don't do it right in front of them? Where is the so called "face" you're trying so hard to maintain or your "secret agendas"/"fake emotions"? They all seem geninue to me bro, you should all aply to get an oscar.

haha, I guess I am kind of asking for it by responding to this but here I am... You definitely have a good point about the actions of the other nobles- their stupidity and lack of basic awareness is weird and doesn't make sense when you consider how aware the main characters of the story are. Though it could be said that they simply aren't of very high standing or that their parents never punished them in the same way that Johannes' parents didn't punish him, that simply would not make sense as 1. they were talking with the fiancee of the crown prince and if they were of low status like Sasha they would have never been invited and 2. the social hierarchy is super strict, so they would have at least been taught by their parents where their family stood to avoid bringing shame, or worse.
However, I do really like the depth that is given to the protagonists (though I think characters aside from the protagonists need to be given similar depth as well for consistency's sake and I think a lot of the character and story development that does happen for the protagonists is rushed and glossed over for the sake of keeping the webtoon a shorter length). In addition, Sasha is basically a therapist to all of the other characters in the world she is placed into and has a lot of emotional intelligence which is unusual, I think, and quite amazing. Of course, there are definitely plot holes and many aspects of the story that could be fixed, but I disagree that the story is boring and think there is a lot it gives you to think about people and why we are who we have turned out to be as well as the potential we all have to become better people if we are willing to dedicate ourselves to change.
Dude, the matter with nobles isn't about them being of higher or lower rank, or the way their parents treated them for that matter. Ffs, all I am asking is a basic etiquette. One that slightly wealthy commoner has. Them being of lesser nobles doesn't excuse them behaving the way they do, 'cause it's "lesser noble" status that propels them work even harder in the first place. So fam, this is just a giant plot hole which is supposed to make your blood boil and cheer for the one involved, I guess it just rubbed me the wrong way.
About Sasha, while I do admit I blew it out of proportion in my last comment, she is still so fucking bland lmao. Everything she says/does is so predictable, her "inspiring" speaches aren't even inspiring and just makes me roll my eyes but everyone seems to have a sudden enlightenment... Maybe I'm being too much, but I seriously don't get what you mean by "character with depth"? Billie Eilish level deep, perhaps?
Other characters, well it's a personal thing, I don't like it when all the character development happens in the flashbacks. Remember when Sasha first comforted Rebecca? I would want to see what happened after in the present time, not get a huge ass time skip and recieve sum summarized content. Sashas' relationship with green haired hottie (it hasn't even been a day and I already forgot, talk about deep character...) was also mostly developed behind the scenes. Long story short fam, the storys' way of telling things (pls tell me there's an actual word for it help) isn't my cup of tea.

This definitely clears a lot up for me! I definitely agree with you on...well, everything, I think. You have a really good point with the nobles and I agree with you there. I also agree that we get to see almost no character development in real time, which makes the story bland and rushed... without actual character development happening in real time, it takes a lot away from what could have been character depth. Hmm, I suppose I have been mixing up what potential the story actually has (what it could be if plot holes were filled in and the story was not rushed) with what it actually is.
I do that a lot too lol. I could give this story 7/10 while reading, but after finishing the first season and actually think about it, 6/10 just would be too much. Anyways, I'm glad that we came to agree mate.
